Glo launches Auto Credit Service

In the quest to ensure consumers have unlimited access to uninterrupted, seamless, and valuable call service, leading pan-Nigerian digital and telecommunications service provider, Globacom, has birthed a new product with the launch of auto credit in addition to its endless list of services. The product was launched at an event themed: Pushing the Frontiers: An Evening with Glo held at Eko Hotels & Suite, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Glo Auto Credit Service is a new addition to Glo’s E-top-up services and is aimed at ensuring sustained momentum for callers running out of credit amidst conversation by providing seamless transition and connection.

Glo promised that the newly introduced E-top-up service will ensure that conversation runs seamlessly by providing immediate credit for customers who run out of credit mid-conversation.

Zakari Usman, Globacom’s Head of Enterprise Business said, “Globacom has always played at the intersection of technology and life by leveraging technology to facilitate the design and launch of innovative products and services that provide value for all stakeholders while enhancing life”.

Reiterating the network’s commitment to innovation and value-adding services, Zakari went on memory lane, highlighting Glo’s products and services including per-second billing, Blackberry Services, 4G Data, VAS – Borrow me data service, Digital – GloCafe, and GloTV.

He also added Glo Berekete 10X, digital and VAS products like e-top-up, and the annual end-of-year promos which disrupted the telecoms market positively over the years.

The event also provided the opportunity to introduce formally to Glo’s loyal customers and the guests  Globacom’s Money Master PSB, its payment Service Bank which commenced business recently with the over-arching objective of driving the Central Bank of Nigeria’s mandate of 95 percent financial inclusion by 2024.

On Auto Credit, he explained that “Glo Auto Credit, which can be accessed via bank applications, offers automatic credit for customers to make calls and use data. Subscribers of the service will be auto-credited when their airtime balance gets to a minimum threshold limit at their desired frequency (daily/weekly/monthly).”

Also, Money Master PSB’s Head of Product & Marketing, Esaie Diei, informed the guests of the successful take-off of the payment service bank. According to him, “MoneyMaster will disrupt and revolutionize the financial industry in the same way that Globacom revolutionized the telecoms industry with cutting-edge technology and unique products when it started operations in 2003.”

Athletic World champion and Glo’s newest brand ambassador, Tobi Amusan was also in attendance.
