MARKETING EDGE on TV reschedules to host Akingbala this Thursday

Foremost Marketing and advertising television program, MARKETING EDGE on TV will be hosting Omobolanle Akingbala, Head of strategic Growth & Partnership, Zedi Africa, tomorrow Thursday, on TVC News Dstv Channel 418 at 3:30pm and WAP TV at 8pm on Wednesday, with a repeat broadcast on WAP TV on Thursday at 9:30am.

The program which is a potpourri of industry news, gist and in-depth conversations about the business of brand management, advertising and marketing communication will be hosting the highly cerebral professional on the ‘Industry Conversation’ segment of the program.

In this interview, Akingbala will speak on the impact of technology on the marketing communications industry. He will also air his opinion as well on how marketers can leverage the rapid revolution of digitalisation to optimise marketing budget.

Omobolanle Akingbala is a skilled communications and brand growth strategist with over 12 years’ experience across various roles in marketing communication. She started her career in traditional marketing and has gone on to lead teams in strategy and brand communications both on the agency and client side. She has been responsible for creating transformational marketing campaigns for big brands in various industries such as Fintech, Cryptocurrency, Insurance, Hospitality, Real Estate, Logistics, Food and beverages to name a few.

Today, her role pulls on all her experience in growth and marketing to facilitate strategic growth and partnerships for brands in Zedi Africa, Africa’s marketing force for startups.

Omobolanle is the Acting President for Digiclan; a community of marketing professionals that leverages peer-to-peer learning for growth and work effectiveness.
