TVC Communications appoints Din-Jacob as Editor-in-chief

Veteran broadcast journalist Barrister Stella Din-Jacobs has been announced as the new Editor-in-Chief of TVC Communications.

Jacob as a seasoned broadcaster with extensive expertise in the media industry is set to bring fresh perspectives and dynamic leadership to the media company.

Stella has over 20 years’ experience in local and international media. In her new role she will oversee and implement the strategic direction and management of TVC News as it enters a period of vigorous investment and strategic change in editorial and programming output.

Her leadership will undoubtedly shape the future direction of the network, reinforcing its position as a leading broadcaster in the region.

Congratulating Stella on the milestone achievement, Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang extended his heart warm felicitations to the latest Editor-in-Chief in town.

The governor described Jacob as a seasoned broadcaster with extensive expertise in the media industry, trusting God that she would bring to bear her wealth of experience to drive positive narratives for the development of the nation.

Gov Mutfwang was delighted that Stella, an indigene of Plateau State, commands high respect in the media industry, in view of her impactful leadership marked by dedication and commitment to excellence.

He expressed confidence in the leadership capacity of Jacob whose career spans several decades in the broadcast industry, and hoped she will introduce refreshing contents that will rebrand the image of the country before the international community.

The governor said as a good Ambassador of Plateau State, Jacob will bring on board innovations and purpose driven initiatives that will place the media outfit as the most competent and reliable broadcast station in the country and beyond.

Expressing her excitement on the new position Stella stated that “I’m delighted to join TVC Communications and I look forward to the challenge of leading the news team, harnessing creative growth and professional development of dedicated professionals.”

“I am passionate about TV news, endless opportunities to create compelling content for a wide network of Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora.”

Prior to her appointment as the Editor-in-Chief, she was the Director of News TVC Communications for over 5 years. She was also the General manager News 24GM, Silverbird Communications where she was responsible for the general direction for a team of professionals at STV and Rhythm stations in the news and current affairs department.

The Executive Producer NEWSMEDIA Productions, also the worked as the Media Consultant to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Group Head of Content and Quality Assurance, Minaj Systems LTD, and National Head of News and Current Affairs, Silverbird Television

She studied Foundation Course in law from the University of Warwick, has LLB in University of Kent, and B.L from the Nigeria Law School.
