It was an exceptional and exciting evening of rewarding and celebrating entrepreneurial spirit as 20 winners in women-led businesses smiled home with the sum of two million naira advertising value each at the 2023 edition of Nimbus Aid Project.

Reflecting on the events of the year’s journey while delivering his welcome address, the Chief Executive Officer of Nimbus Media Limited, Wale Adegoke, commended the resilience and audacity displayed by Nigerians, especially women-led businesses who, against all odds, are still determined to reach the pinnacles of their business growth

The Nimbus Aid Project visioneer, therefore, reiterated that his agency is committed to supporting them with the project initiative aimed at inspiring women. This, he noted, is by offering them advertising value that will help boost the visibility of their businesses, encourage inclusive and sustainable business future irrespective of sector.

“Indeed, the heart of our economy lies in the entrepreneurs and business leaders who work tirelessly, day in and day out. Women-led businesses in particular are the backbone of our nation. Their unwavering commitment and shared determination has allowed them to rise above the most trying circumstances. But they deserve more than just praise for their resilience.

“They deserve the collective support of our community. We as a community must ensure that these businesses not only survive but thrive. The Nimbus Aid Project exemplifies our shared commitment to this responsibility,” he said.

The Nimbus boss urged all to join in the pursuit of acting as agents of change in accelerating business growth.

“In the face of these challenges, it is natural to ask who can provide relief and support to us, the resilient business owners in Nigeria. The answer, my friends, is closer to home than we might think. We are each other’s greatest allies and it is within our communities that we find strength and support. Indeed, if we look inward and around us, we will find that we have everything we need.”

Adegoke also commended his mum for instilling in him the uncommon virtue that has helped to birth the vision behind the Nimbus Aid Project Initiative.

“Today, I want to share with you a philosophy that has profoundly influenced my path In doing so, I must pay tribute to my mother, who is seated here today for instilling in me a love for learning.”

He emphasised the power of synergy and noted how impactful its immeasurable value can transform and translate positively across all spheres of human endeavour. He expressed his profound appreciation to his partners for their immense support.

“I Know that our community is a source of strength and inspiration to us. Together we can overcome any challenges that lie ahead of us and build a brighter future for each and every one of our businesses. This is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together to uplift and empower one another.

“Tonight, as we celebrate the remarkable achievement of our 20 winners out of 40 finalists, and just know that you all are winners. Amazingly, we are a part of a community that believes in the boundless potential of our entrepreneurs, especially women leaders,” he said.

He added: “To the finalists, I say this; your passion and unwavering dedication have brought us to this momentous occasion. Tonight is about celebrating your achievements and the collective efforts that have turned this initiative into a reality.

“As you shine brightly, remember that you are not alone. Our community stands firmly behind you and beside you and we are supporting your journey.”
