Themed “Digital Communities: New Frontier Building Relationships”, the new edition is poised to inspire public relations practitioners to learn and relearn new skill sets to maximize the opportunities in the fast-growing digital communication space. It will also help them to create better content, engage a multi-channel audience and run successful digital campaigns.

The Lagos Digital PR Summit is a two-day Summit immersive event organized in collaboration with technology companies specializing in Internet-related services, social media and social networking services and leading digital marketing communications firms.

According to Comfort Nwakwo, Lagos NIPR chairman, the Summit is also designed for Millennials and Generation X managing communications portfolios for government, corporate, non-governmental organizations and the media, to equip and expose them to contemporary techniques and glean new insights in the fast-growing digital media space for modern-day strategic communication practice.

Since 2016, the Lagos State Chapter; the leading and most populated branch of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations accounting for nearly 60 percent of the PR practitioners in the country, has been organizing the Lagos Digital Public Relations Summit as a high-end experiential gathering of communicators focused on achieving collective intelligence to equip and capacitate participants with high-level digital public relations strategies, tactics and how- to’s so they can do their jobs better and lift their social media campaign results.
