ADVAN hosts CMO’s forum in Lagos

The Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) is set to host its leadership forum for Heads of Marketing and Communications in Lagos, Nigeria.

The forum which will avail heads of marketing and communications of various organisations opportunity to listen, discuss and chart a new way for the marketing and communications business and its players in Nigeria, is tagged ‘’The Chief Marketing and Communications Officer as the CEO’’.

The president of ADVAN, Mrs. Folake Ani-Mumuney, said the forum is an exclusive event meant only for heads of marketing and communications of each organisation, including marketing communications directors, marketing directors and general managers as it relates to each organisation.

‘’The forum was birthed out of a need to provide the nation’s marketing and communications leaders with a platform to better navigate the fast-changing marketing communications landscape as well as provide insights on changes in local and multinational marketing and communications which leaders need to make in order to effectively deliver profitable brand equity as they equally grow in their chosen career’’.

Abiona Babarinde, the Chairperson of the organising committee, noted that this year’s edition focuses more on the career path of these professionals as it relates to getting to the pinnacle of their careers in their various organisations.

‘’The organising committee carefully selected this topic to address certain career oriented issues as it relates to the marketing and communications players equipping ourselves for the peak of our career and ultimately create and deliver the expected value for our organisations’’.

Mr. Victor Adenrele, the Chief Executive Officer of Omari Consulting Services Limited and Former Director General Institute of Directors Nigeria, a seasoned human resource consultant, will deliver the keynote address.
