MARKETING EDGE on TV hosts Steve Babaeko this Wednesday on TVC DStv Channel 418 @12:30PM

MARKETING EDGE on TV, a leading marketing and advertising TV programme, will this Wednesday host the President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) and Chief Executive Officer at X3M Ideas, Steve Babaeko, a distinguished and intellectually renowned advertising and marketing practitioner.

Mr. Babaeko, who has continued to lead the Association with his indelible and ground-breaking ideas, will be speaking about how AAAN has fared under his watch in the last one year and how he was able to mitigate the challenges of COVID-19 pandemic having received the mandate during a turbulent year.

MARKETTING EDGE on TV, which conceptualises industry gist, developments and happenings in the field of advertising, marketing and communication, is packaged in three segments, namely: brand news, brand in focus and industry conversation where industry players discuss varied industry-based issues comprehensively.

The foremost TV show, which goes live on TVC DStv Channel 418 at exactly 12:30 PM, will be featuring the AAAN President as a guest on the segment, “Industry Conversation”, where he will speak about the sectoral group among other industry issues.

Mr. Babaeko is an unusual businessman. In an industry that seemed to have run out of inspirational stories, he stepped in and wrote a new chapter. X3M Ideas, which he founded in 2012, has become a yardstick for a new generation of Nigerian creative entrepreneurs.

He began his advertising career at MC&A Saatchi & Saatchi and moved to Prima Garnet Ogilvy. For more than 23 years, he has been helping to create some of the most iconic marketing works on the continent. He continues to represent Africa on the global stage having been a member of the jury at the New York Advertising Week, the Loeries and Cristal Awards. He has also been a speaker at the Cannes Festival of Creativity and also one of Adweek’s Top 100 Creatives in the world 2019.

Aside from being the President of the AAAN, he is Chairman of the board of Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF) and member of the board of International Advertising Association (IAA), Nigeria. He is the serving Chairman, Public Relations Committee of the Nigerian- American Chamber of Commerce.
