MARKETING EDGE on TV hosts Sheriff Akinpelu today

Foremost advertising and marketing television program, MARKETING EDGE ON TV, will be hosting the Deputy Director, Strategy & Planning, SPV communication solutions, Sheriff Akinpelu today on TVC news DStv channel 418 at 12:30 pm.
The television programme has three segments features; industry gist, events, and insights into the business of brand management, advertising, and marketing.
This week, Sheriff will be speaking on the salient issues that concern the marketing and advertising business in Nigeria and how practitioners can leverage technology to engage with the New Age consumer.
Sheriff is the deputy Director at SPV where he is the Integrated Strategist that helps create value and alignment through the line for MTN Nigeria, with different agencies across different capacities (Advertising: TBWA, DDB & YBR; PR: Black House Media, Digital: Playhouse Communication; Media: PhD Nigeria).
Prior to working with SPV, he worked at Nigeria’s foremost creative agency, CreativeXone as an Assistant Brand Planner and got promoted to the post of Brand Planning Manager.
He has also worked on brands like Etisalat, Dangote Cement, Dan-Q seasoning, Dangote Salt, Keystone Bank, Lagos State Government Ministry of Education, Spectranet, and a host of others.
He is the founder of Strategy Trybe, a platform that trains Strategists and Account Planners in Nigeria and Africa. To improve on his Strategy skills, he took the Ministry of Strategy Course in 2017. He has also learned from renowned Strategists in Africa, and on a global level.
