Versuni, the entity behind renowned domestic appliance brands such as Philips, Saeco, Gaggia, and Preethi, among others, has appointed Hill & Knowlton as its global corporate communications agency following a competitive selection process.

This significant move marks Versuni’s initial global corporate communications appointment since its acquisition of the Philips domestic appliances brand from Royal Philips in 2021. Notably, last month, Versuni brought Tin Man on board as its global consumer agency.

Hill & Knowlton’s mandate revolves around amplifying Versuni’s “turning houses into homes” concept to stakeholders. Additionally, the agency aims to navigate and minimize risks while supporting Versuni’s expansion across the 100 markets where the company operates.

The corporate communications assignment, valued at six figures, encompasses diverse aspects such as executive visibility, crisis readiness and management, sustainability communications, employee engagement, and strategic media relations.

Trix Van der Vleuten, Versuni’s Head of Global Brands and Marketing Strategies, said: “We sought robust, strategic insights and a shared passion for driving global growth through purpose-driven communications that fortify and safeguard business value. The Hill & Knowlton team impressed us consistently throughout the pitch process, demonstrating resilience in meeting every challenge. We eagerly anticipate collaborating on award-winning initiatives.”

Heading the account, Hill & Knowlton’s EVP Avra Lorrimer remarked, “The ambition displayed by the Versuni team was immediately invigorating. Their belief in the pivotal role of communications in enhancing business and reputation harmonizes with our agency’s strengths. We are enthusiastic about leveraging the potential of communication to propel the brand’s expansion.”
