So.Media Solutions Group appoints Doosuur as the new COO

So.Media Solutions Group, a communications agency has appointed Doosuur Victoria Tilley-Gyado as the new Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Doosuur Victoria Tilley-Gyado is the newest addition to the So.Media Solutions Group as the Chief Operations Officer (C.O.O) overseeing the African arm of the PR and Communications Firm which is currently operational in Nigeria, Washington D.C, and London.

She brings over a decade of high-level project management spanning the creative industry, public and private sectors.

Doosuur (pronounced “Doe-Sue”) is a visionary community builder, social impact advocate, and thought leader within the creative industry. As a pioneer in the Afrobeats and Music industry, she launched her career in Nigeria in 2009, as a label executive and A&R at Chocolate City Music – a fruitful career saw her managing world-renowned artists such as M.I Abaga, Jesse Jagz, Iceprince, and Byrmo. Her work with the record label gained her grounds in the entertainment PR space with the success of media campaigns such as “Oleku” by Ice Prince and albums such as “Everybody Loves Ice”“Jagz of All Tradez”, by Jesse Jagz, and “MI2:The Movie”, M.I Abaga.

After a successful time at Chocolate City, Doosuur moved on to co-found RedBox Ltd, an event planning company, and then Small Business Big World a brand consulting multi-faceted creative agency that also offers PR consultancy – particularly in the entertainment industry.

Doosuur has a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development from the Universities of Essex and Sussex, UK. She is skilled in project management, HNI management, team building, brand consulting, and operations management.

She is passionate about a collective conscious journey of actualizing modern Africa’s potential in all aspects of life, mainly through history, technology, and the creative industry.
