P&G boosts sales forecast again amid pandemic

Despite the challenges that has befallen the world, devastating businesses amid COVID-19 outbreak, consumer products giant, Procter & Gamble Co (P&G) seems to have been making edgeways as the company raised its full-year sales forecast for a second time on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

In the spirit of business creativity, the consumer products giant was said to have benefited from a sustained high level of demand for its home care and cleaning products due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

P&G disclosed that the company is expecting full-year sales to rise 5% to 6% compared with a prior forecast of a 3% to 4% increase.

P&G, like many other companies, had been adapting its business to online for some time and this has been confirmed as a strategy currently aiding its business performance.

The company specialises in a wide range of personal health/consumer health, and personal care and hygiene products; these products are organised into several segments including Beauty; Grooming; Health Care; Fabric & Home Care; and Baby, Feminine, & Family Care.
P&G have its presence widely spread to many countries of the world including Nigeria.
