Optimus Bank redefines financial landscape with innovative opportunities

It was a groundbreaking milestone filled with grandeur and glamour when His Excellence, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State cut the symbolic ribbon at the grand opening and official launch of Optimus Bank.

The unveiling of Optimus Bank, which the management described as a new player, is said to have emerged to challenge the status quo and bring a fresh approach to banking services. They noted that the bank is gearing up to make its mark in the industry and establish a strong market presence. The milestone event was held at the bank’s Corporate Head Office Building at 55 Bishop Oluwole Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The epochal ceremony, which kicked off with a media parley, was later graced with the distinguished presence of the governor. He recognised the bank’s potential to further drive economic growth and stability in Lagos State. The governor further assured Optimus Bank of the support of the state government and promised to continually make Lagos State conducive for business to thrive. He acknowledged that Optimus Bank is “People-centric and consumer-focused”.

He also commended Optimus Bank for its cutting-edge technology and innovative practices, which he acknowledged its alignment with the state’s technological advancement and financial modernization drive.

“Optimus Bank will not only play a crucial role in the banking sector and the established organizations but also in start-ups and SMEs. They are set to lift the people out of poverty,” Mr. Sanwo-Olu said.

The Chairman of the bank, Oghogho Apata, revealed that Optimus Bank Limited is heralding a redefinition of the Nigerian financial landscape with innovative opportunities. Apata explained that the newly launched financial institution is poised to revolutionize the banking experience while fostering global financial growth.
