MIPAN Elects New Executives

The Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN) has elected Dr. Ken Onyeali Ikpe, MD/CEO of Allseasons Media Limited as its President.

Dr Ikpe who initially served as Acting President after Tolu Ogunkoya of MediaReach stepped down last year, was elected as MIPAN’s substantive President at the association’s Annual General Meeting held recently inside MIPAN’s new Secretariat located at 22A, Olatunbosun Street, Sam Shonibare Estate, Maryland, Lagos.

Speaking after his election, the new President Dr. Onyeali Ikpe expressed his appreciation for the overwhelming support enjoyed thus far, and urged members to be committed to the ideals of the association.

Also elected to serve with Dr Ikpe are Olufemi Adelusi of BrandEye Media who is now MIPAN’s Vice President, Seyi Iwayemi, Maximedia- Assistant Secretary, Dipo Awopeju, Allseasons Media Limited – Financial Secretary, Yinka Adebayo, MediaReach OMD – Publicity Secretary and Mrs Violet Nath-Okoduwa of FCBBrandfirst, who was inducted into the association last years is now its Assistant Publicity Secretary.

Messrs Tolu Ogunkoya, Tony Udenze, Ayo Kupoluyi and Emeka Okeke are all now the ex officious of the association. While Eki Adfuzeh remains Executive Secretary and Yinka Adebayo is Publicity Secretary. The tenure of the new executive last for another two years.

Meanwhile, the first official function of the new executive will take place Monday, May 30, 2016 when the association holds the 4th edition of its annual Patrons’ Day. The event organized by MIPAN member agencies is aimed at bringing all stakeholders, management and staff together under a fun, relaxed and sporting atmosphere.

According to the association, It is expected that the ambience would engender positive attitude/spirit leading to an amiable operating business environment for all the statement concludes.
