This is sequel to the N100m target being crowdfunded by Individuals and Corporate organizations for the top 81 high school Agric science students in Nigeria. The fund which will be disbursed in a transparent manner aims to provide scholarship opportunities to the best 81 Brightest students who emerged from the large pool of participants in the just-concluded National Qualifying Examination.
According to Engr. Oluwatoba Asana, OCP Africa Nigeria Country Manager, one of OCP Africa’s mission is to support and promote the study and practice of Agriculture in Nigeria, hence our contribution to this noble cause that will bring about a change in the believe and the perception of young people towards Agricultural Science, and its relevance to human existence.
OCP Africa’s support for the Brightest Project aligns with her broader commitment to sustainable agricultural development and innovation across the continent. By investing in education, OCP Africa aims to equip young Africans with the knowledge and skills needed to address pressing agricultural and environmental challenges.
While appreciating this kind gesture, the Executive Producer, Brightest National Agric Science Quiz Contest and Group Managing Director, DM Holdings Limited, Oladapo Ojo says the N10 million donation is a confirmation of OCP Africa’s unwavering commitment to education and youth empowerment in Africa.
