NGE reschedules 2021 Biennial Convention for 30 May to 2 June 2021

The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) has rescheduled the date for its 2021 biennial convention. The new dates for the NGE 2021 Convention have been slightly adjusted at the instance of the government of the host state.

This year’s convention will now take place from Sunday, 30 May to Tuesday, 2 June 2021.

The Venue of the Convention is Tahir Guest Palace, No. 4, Ibrahim Natsugune Road, Kawo, Kano State.

Details of the events are as follow: Arrival of Delegates: Sunday, 30 May. Convention/Election: Monday, 31 May. Tour of Projects /Gala Night: Tuesday, 1 June. Departure: Wednesday, 2 June.

In a statement, NGE said: “The Standing Committee regrets the inconveniences this slight postponement may have caused our esteemed members, especially those who have already purchased their flight tickets.

“Kindly note that only members who are up-to-date in their financial obligations are eligible to vote and be voted for.”
