MTN Nigeria launches disney mobile web service

Leading telecommunications giant, MTN Nigeria has partnered with Walt Disney Company Africa to launch a mobile web service called Disneynigeria.mobi at the company’s headquarters, Ikoyi, Lagos.

The package which provides Disney-themed short-form content like videos, wallpapers, games, channel information, trailers and downloadables allows subscribers to use the web for a token of N200 monthly.

Speaking at the launch, the Senior Vice President of The Walt Disney Company Africa, Christine Service, stated that the company is delighted to be collaborating with MTN to give its Nigerian users access to Disneynigeria.mobi.

Service pointed out that the web service which is specifically developed for the Nigerian market will in turn introduce MTN subscribers to Disney characters as well as content in an affordable and accessible way.

Speaking in the same, the General Manager, Brands and Communication, MTN Nigeria, Richard Iweanoge, stressed that the company has always search for creative avenues for customers to express their individuality and passion.

In his words, “We are presenting a world of Disney straight to our customers’ fingertips at a truly affordable price, and we are confident of the fulfilling entertainment they will derive from this.”

The web service comes with a lot of exciting offers as users will enjoy fresh contents which include games like Frozen Double Trouble, Gravity Falls and Mabel; wallpapers from fan favourite shows, short films like cars Toons, the popular Pixar Shorts; great recipes, arts and crafts, movie highlights and many more.

To access the site, users with both feature and smartphones can visit Disneynigeria.mobi and follow the instructions. Users will also have access to save a launcher app straight onto their mobile device for easy access to the site.
