As part of its plans for substantial growth for the next five years, QDOBA, a Mexican fast-casual restaurant, has named Leo Burnett as the creative agency of record for its business.

The chain has more than 750 locations across the United States, Canada and other locations as well as planning to double in size over the next seven years. QDOBA is currently 80% franchised.

The win builds on Leo Burnett’s momentum over the last two years, winning more than 20 assignments and being named AOR for various brands, including Maker’s Mark and Tillamook.

“Britt Nolan, co-president and Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett, while speaking on the new partnership said: “We’re excited to play a part in its evolution. When we look at a brand like QDOBA, we can’t help but be invigorated by the possibilities. It’s a brand we can relate to and one that resonates with our own experiences.”

In the same vein John Cywinski, CEO of Modern Restaurant Concepts, parent company to QDOBA, added: “Our growth potential is unlimited and the decision to partner with Leo Burnett was a natural choice.”

Cywinski said initial campaign work will be introduced in 2025.

QDOBA is owned by Modern Restaurant Concepts.
