LASAA unveils 2022 mobile stickers for branded vehicles

The Lagos State Signage and advertisement Agency (LASAA), the regulatory agency responsible for the placement of advertisement in the state, has unveiled the new 2022 mobile advert stickers.

The Managing Director of LASSA, Prince Adedamola Docemo who made this announcement in a statement, noted that the application of the new mobile sticker will take effect from 1st January 2022, as the 2021 sticker ceases to be operational from the 31st December 2021.

According to him, the new innovation on the 2022 mobile sticker will address concerns related to unscrupulous activities by some individuals working to frustrate the efforts of the agency.

While disclosing that the new stickers which have enhanced with internal control mechanism comes with a hologram-finish and specialize bar codes with serial numbers, Prince Decumo explained that the launch  is “to review and defined the mobile advert sticker product and use the opportunity to holistically assess the process for better performance.

He added that the 2022 sticker has been upgraded with a QR code scanner application which is readable by a simple Smartphone and that the improved security features   of the sticker have anti-counterfeit properties which run on a robust and secure database platform, an authentication system against fraud.

According to the agency’s helmsman, the security measure will facilitate easy monitoring and enforcement as all branded vehicles in the state will be easily captured on mobile advert.

He assured of the agency’s readiness to ensure that all branded vehicle are properly registered in the state and that defaulters will be punished accordingly.
