Ilebaye declared winner BBNaija Season 8

The biggest reality TV show in Africa, Big Brother Naija (BBN) has crowned Ilebaye Onidiya aka Baye GenZ Baddie the winner of Season 8 ‘BBN ALL STARS’. The winner was announced during the final eviction show in Lagos, Nigeria.

Ilebaye, who emerged the winner after leading the poll with 30.08% votes, defeated five other finalists: Mercy Eke (Mercy Lambo) Cynthia (Cee C), Adekunle Tobilola Olopade (Badboy Desk) and Pere, Cross da boss.

An emotional Ilebaye, who was once a housemate in Level up season7, Level Up 2022, fell on the floor in disbelief after she was announced the winner by the show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, on Sunday night.

Ilebaye now joins the elite list of former BBNaija winners who have built flourishing careers in Nigeria’s Entertainment industry.

Speaking during the live eviction show, Multichoice, the organizers of the reality show, said: “It’s a year of women, Multichoice has been the unifying force since 2006. For AllStars 24 housemates, we have seen the drama, the parrot, the plot twist. We have seen new bounds formed and over time you can see the economic impact this exposure has given to the housemates and media circle.”

“It takes a village to create this amazing experience, production, sponsorship and teaching together at Multichoice. A lot of dedication, passion was put in to pull this off, and we thank our customers and dear fans,” the statement added.

In its season eight, the BBNaija AllStars show has continued to draw a record audience across Africa as the biggest reality show on the continent.

Representatives of each brand that sponsored the show were present to share the massive engagement the reality show gave their platform.

According to Kemi Adedeji, Marketing Communication Manager, HFM, it’s a great opportunity to sponsor the AllStars edition.

Ilebeya is going home with this season’s ₦120m cash grand prize, an Innoson G5T vehicle; travel Trip for 2, a Tecno Camon fold, one year supply of Pepsi, Munch It, Nexus appliances, Huwaii Soap, Lush Hair, WAW detergent and several other consumables.

According to the organizers the prize winner presentation will be held on Tuesday, 03, October at 2pm WAT.
