The Experiential Marketers’ Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) has called on integrated marketing communication professionals to join the body in order to build a robust industry ecosystem.
The call was made by president of the association, Tolulope Madebem recently, at the Joint Press Conference organized with a view to updating the public on the forthcoming Experiential Marketing Management Programme (EMMP).
While highlighting the event’s timeliness and the need for a deeper understanding of experiential marketing, the president urged all professionals regardless of the nature of business they do to join the association to build the industry.
“If you believe and know you are a true professional, if you believe and know that you can do what you are doing, join us and let’s build this ecosystem, let’s become that force that everybody sees, leans on and says EXMAN makes it a reality.
“Let’s do it together, that’s where we are, and that is what we are working on. Hopefully, we will all feel dividends of what we are trying to build. At the end of the day, we are trying to say to you that EXMAN is an association of core professionals. Professionals who believe in what they do and who stand behind their methods. These are some of the things you find us doing in conjunction with the entire marketing communication ecosystem,” she said.
Also speaking at the occasion, Angela Makinwa, the Vice President of EXMAN, emphasized the urgent need for experiential marketing in the current economic climate, noting that brands need to persuade consumers on why they should make purchases.
The Experiential Marketing Management Programme (EMMP), slated for May 2024, will be held in collaboration with Lagos Business School. It is primarily aimed at providing a deep understanding of experiential marketing and its role in brand management, growth and loyalty.
It is a collaboration that lends credence to the commitment and dedication of Lagos Business School and EXMAN in promoting transformative change and inspiring actionable strategies in the marketing field.
