Coca-Cola appoints Precise Platforms for PR consolidation
Coca-Cola Nigeria has appointed Precise Platforms to manage its Public Relations account. According to Coca-Cola, the relationship, which would see the corporate and brand Public Relations accounts combined for management at the strategic communications agency, came into force on 1st January, 2022.
Commenting on the account consolidation, Nwamaka Onyemelukwe, Director, Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability, Coca-Cola Nigeria, said: “When we commenced the process of reviewing our PR strategy for 2022, we were focused on ensuring we deliver on our core objectives for the year, foremost of which was to continue to deliver our brand promise to both our consumers and valued stakeholders. With this in mind, we successfully consolidated our accounts, closing out 2021 very strong and with a lot of hope for 2022.”
She added: “With the commencement of this new partnership with Precise Platforms, we are confident that our new team will continue to represent our interests in the most outstanding way and we remain optimistic that 2022 will be a truly rewarding year for both parties.”

It was gathered that the Coca-Cola account adds to a number of blue-chip companies already being managed by Precise in the Nigerian market, which include but not limited to Seplat, Nestoil, Amazon Energy, OCPAfrica, Henkel (Expand Global), and Unilever.
