APCON empowers Ad practitioners through training
The Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) has announced a training Programme that will empower advertising practitioners in Nigeria, as well as those whose dream is to become professionals in the industry or other related sectors.
This was made known by the Assistant Director, Registration, Career Matters and Corporate Licensing, Ms. Martha Onyebuchi, who said that the seminar would give opportunity to professionals in the industry to further expand their knowledge base on the profession.
The two months training program will run from July 4 to August 30, 2018, at the Bolton White Hotel, Federal Capital Territory Abuja. The theme for the seminar is “Effective Advertising Consultancy Management”.
According to Ms. Onyebuchi, the program is designed for Registered Advertising Practitioners and those who currently manage or are desirous of operating advertising agencies, consultancy businesses and other areas of Integrated Marketing Communications.
She added that the series of the two-month program with several sub-themes will be interactive and will be facilitated by highly regarded experts in the industry.
The Assistant Director said:” Other training programs scheduled to be delivered by the Council across the country during the year include will hold as follows: July 12 and 18, 2018 – Venue: Soprom Hotel and Suite 1, Ogbatalueniyi Drive, Federal Housing Estate, 3-3, Onitsha, Anambra State. The topic to be treated is “Selling the Media, Selling through the Media”.
Another one holds on July 25-26, 2018 – Venue: Abdulsalami Youth Centre, Paiko Road, Opposite Federal Secretariat, Minna, Niger State. This is APCON’S Special Workshop on: “Improved Revenue Generation and Effective Local Government Administration”.
Meanwhile, Onyebuchi noted that for the month of August, the seminar will hold on August 15-16, 2018 as APCON’S Mandatory Continuous Training Program for Advertising Practitioners themed: “Digital Marketing”. Venue: Dover Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
She also added that the last lap of the training program will hold on August 29-30, 2018 – APCON’S Mandatory Continuous Training Program for Advertising Practitioners themed:”Digital- Marketing”. Venue: CHKAB Hotel, 2, Ahmadu Bello Way, Kano.
