Access The Stars heads to Owerri

Two of Nigeria’s biggest brands, Access Bank and Star Lager Beer appear to have struck gold with the all-new music reality show. The “Access The Stars” music show is sponsored by both brands and with 5 hugely successful editions in Lagos, Abeokuta, Abuja. Onitsha and Calabar, music hopefuls in Owerri will get the chance to get in on the action when the auditions and concerts heads to the beautiful city.

Birthed from the collaboration between Access Bank Plc and Star Lager Beer, Access The Stars aims to discover and refine the talents of young music stars across the country. The next round of auditions will be held at City Global Hotel Port Harcourt Road, Owerri on the 26th and 27th of December 2019.

Speaking on the success of Access The Stars so far, Brand Manager, Star Lager, Onyebuchi Nwangwu said, “We have been to five cities across the country and the number of amazing talents we’ve come across are simply mind-blowing. We can’t wait to see what the city of Owerri has in store for us and we know that we would be equally impressed.”

The Group Head, Corporate Communications for Access Bank, Amaechi Okobi also remarked on the show so far. He said, “We believe Nigeria is blessed with amazing singers and we’ve been pleasantly surprised at the level of talent we have witnessed in Lagos, Abeokuta and Abuja. We trust that Onitsha will continue in this trend and we look forward to an amazing outing in the city.”

Dare Art Alade and Olive Emodi will host the concert, while celebrity judges; Tee-Y Mix, Seyi Shay and Kaffy will select the final two contestants to represent Onitsha and proceed to the next round of the competition.

The concert which is set to hold at Imo International Conference Centre (IICC), Onitsha-Owerri Expressway, Owerri on December 29, 2019 will see performances by a-list artists like, Wande Coal, Kcee, Don King, Obiligblo Brothers, and CJ.
