X3M Ideas promotes Mike Miller to executive creative director

Leading Nigerian creative powerhouse, X3M Ideas has announced the promotion of its former creative director Mike Miller as the new Executive Creative Director.

This was made known in a post on social media handles LinkedIn and Instagram by Steve Babaeko, the CEO/Chief Creative Officer, X3M Ideas while congratulating the new executive creative director on his position.

The post reads: “It gives me great pleasure to formally announce Mike Miller, as our Executive Creative Director. About 2 years ago when I had the recruitment chat with Mike to join us as CD, I felt an instant alignment of values, I am glad that I still feel positive about his contributions to the growth of the business.

Since joining us we have increased our footprint across the continent to over 6 markets, won more than a few global awards and also clinched Nigeria’s number 1 creative agency title last year,” He said.
Miller’s appointment comes after he joined the agency two years ago and worked as the Creative Director before being prompted.

Miller’s LinkedIn page reads: “I believe my experience gives me the edge to arrive at an unique solution faster and therefore more cost effectively, I have kept up with current trends, new media and ways of communicating and delivered better solutions to clients problems that work in today’s landscape.”

Prior to new appointment, Miller worked as CD/Art Director/Web design at Abbott Pharmaceutical, Creative Director Global Marketing, HTC Taiwan, Creative group head, M&C Saatchi, Sydney, Australia, Creative Director, McCann Sydney, Australia, Creative Director, FNL Communications Sydney, Australia, Head of Art, Leo Burnett Sydney, Head of Art, Batey Kazoo Sydney, Senior Art Director / Associate Director, DDB Group Australia among others.

He holds Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Advertising at Hounslow Borough College with a Distinction he participated in being one of the first students to set up the advertising course, and went on numerous placements at agencies.
