UAC Foods appoints Oloyede as MD/CEO

Legacy Company, UAC Foods Limited has appointed Oluyemi Oloyede to lead the age-long company as the Managing Director and CEO, effective from March 2023.

The newly appointed CEO brings in over 16 years of robust experience in leading multinational teams and has worked with companies such as Procter & Gamble, Kelloggs, and Kerry Group.

Oloyede’s career journey began at Procter & Gamble West Africa as Key Accounts Manager, where he covered territories across Nigeria, including Ibadan, Abuja, Kaduna, Zaria, Jos, Port Harcourt, and Lagos. Through an upward career growth trajectory, he became the National Sales Operations Manager covering all of Procter & Gamble’s sub-distributors in Nigeria, and then as Regional Sales Manager responsible for Lagos, Ogun, Edo, and Delta States.

Prior to UAC Foods Limited, has spent significant time working with notable brands which includes  L’Oreal Central West Africa as National Sales Manager for Nigeria and Ghana before moving on to lead Kellogg’s business in West Africa, during which the $450M joint venture between Tolaram Group and Kellogg was consummated. After the transition to the joint venture operation, he joined Kerry Group, where he served as General Manager of West Africa.

The marketing expert who shared the news of his appointment said he was excited to be joining UAC Foods and looked forward to working with the team to achieve the company’s growth objectives. He noted that his leadership style values growth mindset, grit, diligence, and integrity.

Meanwhile, UAC Foods who welcomed the new MD/CEO expressed confidence that, under his leadership, the notable company will garner enough mileage that will boost its equity for sustainable growth.

He holds a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria, and an MBA from the same institution.
