Tolulope Medebem: This new cap surely fits
It was yet another historic moment for the articulate, brilliant, and go-getting Chief Executive Officer of Aster Integrated Marketing as she became the first amongst equals with her election as the Vice President of the Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN).
The delectable and cerebral Amazon with guts and gutso is one of Nigeria’s foremost Experiential Marketing gurus with almost two decades of profound professionalism spanning experiential marketing, brand marketing, brand management, and event management amongst others.
Other Executives elected into the glamorous and attractive sectoral group are: Tunji Adeyinka, President (Managing Director of Connect Marketing Services); Owolabi Mustapha, General Secretary (MD, Maxx Connection); Shola Antwi, Financial Secretary (Chief Operating Officer, DivergentMS); and Adeniyi Orunkoyi , Publicity Secretary (Project General, ipanache Communications).
Her career experience spans several top notch Experiential/ Through the Line Agencies such as Brand Footprint Communication, FKG2 (Troyka Group) and Miss Commonwealth Organisation. On client’s side, she also served as Consumer Development and Marketing Manager, Dansa Foods Limited, a subsidiary of Dangote Group.
Through her expertise, Medebem has worked on various accounts, including MTN, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Multichoice, M-Net & Supersports, Miss Commonwealth (Nigeria & International), V-Mobile and Zain (now Airtel), Procter & Gamble (P&G), British American Tobacco (BAT), First Inland Bank, Intercontinental Bank, Dansa Foods, and many other brands.
Tolulope Medebem obtained her first degree in Dramatic Arts from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife, Nigeria. She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management consultants, Certified with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIMN) as well as other sectoral / industry associations. She has also attended many development programmes in diverse areas.
In 2018, she became a facilitator for LSETF after undergoing training with LBS / Lagos State. She’s also a Unido/HP certified trainer, currently volunteering with Lagos State as a facilitator for the RSW (ReadySetWork) programme.
She is a graduate of China European International Business School (CEIBS) / WELA Programme. She was one of 500 women selected to pioneer the EDC/Cherie Blair Foundation Road to Women’s Business Growth programme in 2016.
