The Marketing Academy announces nominations for 2021 scholarship programme
The Marketing Academy has opened nominations for the 2021 intake of its scholarship programme in the UK. The academy is in its 10th edition and has helped more than 700 marketing leaders from around the world.
Nominations for this year’s scholarship programme close on 26 February 2021.
The free, part-time programme is aimed at emerging leaders in the marketing, media and advertising industry. Running between May 2021 and January 2022, it offers one-to-one mentoring from CMOs, CEOs, senior agency executives and entrepreneurs.
To be considered for a place, potential scholars must be nominated and then meet selection criteria including a commitment to broadening their horizons, between five and 15 years’ experience and ambitions to further their marketing leadership.
There are also scholarships available to those who might not have a classic marketing background or meet all the criteria, but who have demonstrated exceptional potential and achievements.
The Marketing Academy is keen to support diversity, inclusion and equality, and is calling on nominators to help identify the breadth of talent across the industry irrespective of race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender or religion.
Commenting on the event, UK scholarship programme manager Taylor Hill said: “There is a crucial need within our industry for great leadership now more than ever and the Scholarship Programme equips our scholars with everything they need to become outstanding leaders.
“We are thrilled to announce nominations are open for the 2021 Scholarship and cannot wait to see the range of talent that apply. We’d love to thank our 2020 Scholarship partners Facebook, ITV, PHD, BT, KFC Global and Accenture for giving us the foundation to support and develop our Scholars.”
The Marketing Academy is not-for-profit that operates in the UK, Australia and the US.
