Spectranet Wins Two Awards for Its Innovative Drive
Spectranet 4GLTE, leading internet service provider, has clinched two awards for its innovative drive in the broadband and internet service sector of Nigeria’s economy.
The company recently won the Broadband Company of the Year at BusinessDay Top 25 Most Innovative Companies & Institutions Awards 2017 and Most Innovative Internet Service Provider in 2017 at Beacon of Information and Communication Technology (BoICT) award.
Commending Spectranet for its giant strides, BusinessDay Media and Nigeria Communications Week, organisers of the award, in a separate comment, applauded the company for its initiatives and innovations that have helped changed the digital landscape. They, therefore, urged Spectranet not rest on its oars but continue to come up with service offerings that will delight customers.
Mr. Ken Nwogbo, Editor-in Chief of Nigeria Communications Week Media Limited, said that Spectranet 4GLTE brand has been a pace setter in the subsector in the last one year offering reliable internet services in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja and Ibadan.
Nwogbo said that when Spectranet 4GLTE announced the change of identity, he was curious as a journalist knowing that the brand at that time needed more than a new identity to win subscribers, adding that obviously the management of Spectranet were aware of the challenges and kept rolling out innovative content from data plans to strategic pricing and outlets development that consistently enable customers to engage with the brand.
He commended the management for the various initiatives and expressed optimism that the brand will sustain the momentum.
According to BusinessDay, efforts in digging deep, customer-base sustainability and innovative capacity were the high points that won Spectranet 4GLTE the Most Innovative Internet Service Provider award.
“These awards showcase companies and institutions that contributed immensely to the sustainability of their customer-base, bottom-line, exploits of untapped markets, as well as the socio-economic development of our country”, it said.
