Phyna declared winner BBNaija Season 7

The biggest reality tv show in Africa, Big Brother Nigeria has crowned Josephine Ijeoma Otabor popularly called Phyna the winner of Season ‘Level up’. The winner was announced at the final evection show in Lagos, Nigeria.

Phyna who emerged the winner after leading the poll with 40.74 % votes, defeated five other finalists: Adekunle Tobilola Olopade, Chidimma ‘Bella’ Okagbue, Brian ‘Bryann’ Chijoke, Chinenyenwa ‘Chichi’ Okoebor and Daniella Utangbe.

An emotional Phyna, who had audioned four times before getting in on her fifth trial, fell to the floor in disbelief after she was announced the winner by the show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, on Sunday night.

Phyna now joins the elite list of former BBNaija winners who have built flourishing careers in Nigeria’s Entertainment industry.

In its seventh-season run, the BBNaija show has continued to draw a record audience across Africa as the biggest reality show on the continent.

Representatives of each brand that sponsor the show was present to share the massive engagement the reality show gave their platform.

 

According to Yinka Adebayo, MediaReachOMD Director, who said he repented multiple brands like Lush Air extensions, Guinness, Munch It etc stated the brand experienced was amazing and gave brands the bestest highlights.

His words: “ For the brand it’s been an amazing experience, the level of engagement and the fact that it’s given use the platform that enables us intriguing benefit and value of the brand and it’s been amazing and for us the brand equity, the top of the awareness it’s been top notch this time.“

“The highlights for us as a brand is the level of engagement that affords to showcase some benefits of the brand and some of the values and more importantly I think what biggie has done differently this year is the twist that has made the whole show unpredictable that now you can’t know who will emerge the winner. So it’s been an amazing experience.”

Segun Ogunleye, General Manager, Marketing, Seven-Up Bottling Company, said: “I think we have been serve this season and premium entertainment and vibes.”

Ayo Ajala, Chief Operating Officer: “It been awesome 72days, it is for people to know how important this show is, it’s been very phenomenal both to our customers and us as an organization. The big highlights of this season are the fun fast, Saturday night parties and lastly the task which keep us glue to the event.”

Phyna is going home with this season’s ₦100m grand prize, including ₦50 million cash, an Innoson G5T vehicle, Dubai Trip for 2, a Tecno Camon 19, electronics and several consumables.

According to the organizers the winner prize presentation will hold on Tuesday, 04, October at 1pm WAT.
