Meanwhile, WPP Media has retained the ride-hailing company’s Asia-Pacific media business following a competitive regional review.

The outcome marks another milestone in Uber’s ongoing agency relationships, as both media groups emerged from a competitive pitch conducted throughout the second quarter of 2026 with significant portions of the business intact.

Under the renewed agreement, Omnicom Media will continue directing Uber’s media planning and buying activities across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America.

Furthermore, the company has expanded its responsibilities by adding Brazil to its portfolio, reflecting Uber’s confidence in Omnicom’s strategic capabilities following the review process.

In addition, Omnicom Media will now oversee Uber’s sports marketing media activities, broadening the scope of its partnership beyond traditional media planning and investment.

PHD will remain the lead agency supporting Uber’s business across the assigned markets, ensuring continuity in media strategy and execution.

According to the announcement, Uber reaffirmed Omnicom Media as its global media agency of record across most of its key international markets, extending a relationship that originally began in 2023.

Consequently, the latest agreement further solidifies the collaboration between the two companies while expanding Omnicom’s influence within Uber’s global marketing operations.

Meanwhile, WPP Media successfully defended its regional remit across Asia-Pacific after participating in the same competitive review.

As a result, the agency will continue managing Uber’s media business throughout the region, where the company invests approximately $136 million annually in advertising, according to COMvergence.

Notably, both Omnicom and WPP competed during the second-quarter 2026 media review, yet each retained responsibility for its respective territories.

Ultimately, the outcome enables Uber to maintain continuity across its global media operations while strengthening key partnerships in strategically important markets.
