Adaora Adheke is the Managing Director of Peacock Media Nigeria with over 20 years experience across Advertising, Media Strategy, Planning, Buying and Market Research. She has managed brands across various local and multinational clients in Nigeria.
Her professional career spans All Seasons Media/Zenith Optimedia – General Manager Strategy, Planning and Buying (2013 – 2016); Sharemind/Initiative Lagos – Media Director and Business Head (2004 – 2012), Sunrise Advertising/D’Arcy – Research, Strategic Planning and Account Manager (2000 – 2004) and Research International Nigeria – Research Manager (1995 -1999).
Adaora is a member of the following professional committees and associations: Media Independent Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MIPAN- Chairperson Technical Committee); Member Accreditation Committee and Member Media Liaison Committee 2015 – 2020; Member Pan Africa Media Research Organisation (PAMRO); Member local Organising Committee (LOC) for fieldwork and data analysis quality control on (AMPs/Diaries) in Nigeria; Chairperson PAMRO 2018 LOC Logistics & Protocol of all delegates to Nigeria PAMRO Conference 2018; Member Advertising Media Association of South Africa (AMASA) 2008; Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON)-Associate Member; Jury President Nigeria Cannes Young Lions Media Competition 2017; Nigeria Cannes Young Lions Jury member 2010 – 2016; A Jury member for Loeries 2017 Media Innovation Creative Award in Durban, South Africa; Member Outdoor Big Ads Award Jury Panel – 2008 and Member Emerging Africa Leaders Academy (EALA) in Atlanta Georgia, USA.
