MARKETING EDGE ON TV now to show on TVC Entertainment

Marketing Edge on TV, Nigeria’s leading marketing and advertising programme will for the next three weeks be aired on TVC Entertainment every Saturday by 3:30pm local time on DSTV 418.

The programme, a potpourri of current happenings and top industry conversation in the Integrated Marketing Communications industry was formerly aired on TVC News but had to be moved to the entertainment channel due to on-going reorganization taking place at TVC News.

According to Executive Producer of the frontline TV initiative, Mr. John Ajayi, the half hour TV programme will make a return to TVC News after three weeks from now, immediately the on-going brand re-engineering effort of the much sought after TVC News, which latest pay off line is “First with Breaking News”.

Speaking further, Ajayi assured the growing list of viewers of MARKETING EDGE ON TV that the new time adjustment will not in any way affect the quality and value-offerings of the programme. “We are not going to change the quality and focus of our industry engagements as it goes under entertainment platform.

“Though for the next three weeks the channel for broadcasting our programme will change, but the quality of the programme will not. Marketing Edge on TV will remain as exciting, innovative, rich and educative as ever.

“We hope our target audience who have become used to seeing us on TVC News every Wednesday by 12:30 can understand the need for the change and join us on TVC entertainment for the next three weeks period, until we are back to TVC News”.

As it is, we are going to strengthen our potential and reach appeal. Besides, “we believe very strongly in the TVC’s strategic initiatives which have been revolutionizing broadcast journalism in Nigeria”, Ajayi said.

Specifically, he stated that MARKETING EDGE ON TV, completely aligns with the TVC’s management when it said, “our positioning statement of being fist with Breaking News isn’t just a tagline. It is a major promise to our audience that TVC News will be a channel viewers will tune to as big stories unfold anywhere in Nigeria”, he emphasized.
