MARKETING EDGE launches post-Covid-19 edition on Recharge of CSR, publication out this week

To maintain its leading position as an integrated marketing communications industry’s authoritative magazine, MARKETING EDGE is launching its ‘new normal’ edition, entitled “Post-Covid-19 Pandemic: The Recharge of CSR”. The edition, which features an assortment of stories that touch the heart of the industry, including brands, agencies and practitioners that courageously and innovatively sailed through the turbulent waters of Covid-19, will be out next week.

Specifically, the edition has as its cover story, Steve Babaeko, the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria’s (AAAN) newly elected President and other industry’s insightful captions and narratives that make the publication a reader’s delight.

The edition exclusively highlights how brands and their custodians applied the strategy of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to drive marketing purpose and value even at the height of the pandemic, and why they (brands and their custodians) will have to retool in the post-pandemic era if they are to remain competitive in the new normal.

The edition suggests that regardless of how long the crisis actually lasts, Covid-19 will forever change the marketing landscape, adding that at the end of the storm, companies can’t go back to their old playbooks. Their messaging and brand strategy may need to significantly evolve for the realities of the post-Covid-19 world.
