MARKETING EDGE Hall of Fame induction debuts
Preparations are in top gear for the hosting of the maiden edition of MARKETING EDGE Hall of Fame, strategically designed to celebrate industry icons and gladiators.
The Hall of Fame, slated within the first quarter of 2022, is conceived to honour veterans in Nigeria’s Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) industry and, by extension, the nation’s creative economy.
According to John Ajayi, Publisher/ Managing Director, MARKETING EDGE Group, it is through the MARKETING EDGE’s vision and recognition of the need to provide a mechanism to recognise and honour, in perpetuity, living and deceased marketing communications and industry titans who have distinguished themselves as practitioners that the concept of the MARKETING EDGE Hall of Fame begins to take on form and meaning.
Speaking passionately about the award, Mr. Ajayi said: “MARKETING EDGE Hall of Fame is another veritable platform for us to engage and relate with the industry and outstanding icons of our national life. This will be the highest recognition for the IMC and we are going to give it our all to ensure it becomes another resounding success from our stable.”
Mr. Ajayi added: “This Hall of Fame has been created not only to honour trailblazers and leaders in the fields of creative economy, but to serve as a record and inspiration for the next generation of marketing communications industry and other creative sub-sectors.
“The highly exclusive honours’ list, which will be out soon, comprises the movers and shakers of the IMC industry and the very best of the marketing profession.”
