Kachi Onubogu vies for NIMN top position, vows to reshape its future if elected

Dr. Kachi Onubogu, the Managing Director/CEO of Frutta Juice and Services, and an experienced administrator/business leader, has expressed his professional willingness and competence to shape differently, the affairs of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) if elected as its first vice president.

According to the Integrated Marketing Communication professional, “the future of marketing as a whole has never been more shaken as it is today and therefore requires a capable and experienced hand to uphold and remould it”.

“In the last four months, the World of marketing has had to completely re-strategise, rethink, innovate and adapt to a whole new system.

“This is why we, a viable and responsive Institute must rise up today to assist all marketing stakeholders in Nigeria achieve their goals, influence relevant agencies and shape the future of our dear Institute,” he said.

To reposition and strategically place the Institute on the path of future growth and viability, Dr. Onubogu emphasised that the Institute needed to go for professionals with proven and verifiable records of achievements, experience and leadership, coupled with the heart and hand that it could trust.

“This is why I am soliciting for your vote in order to achieve excellence for all stakeholders. Vote for the hand and heart you can trust. Vote for Dr. Kachi Onubogu for first vice president. This is the moment where we need to vote in practical experience, leadership and a commitment to the ideals of NIMN. This is what I am offering to our Institute in order to consolidate on the gains of the past three years and, more importantly, move the Institute forward,” he noted.

Dr. Onubogu is a physicist by training and a business by calling. He has served as an exco of the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN).

The NIMN 2020 elections will be held digitally because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The virtual event is scheduled for Thursday, 16 July, 2020 alongside the Institute’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), and the results of the elections would be announced during the AGM.

The 2020 election contestants are: First Vice-President, Mr. Idorenyen Enang, Mrs. Ifeoma Sheila Emasiana-Dike, Dr. Onyekachi Onubogu and Dr. Umar Musa Mustapha, while the second Vice-President is Mr. Chuka Eborah.
