FlutterWave partners LSETF to support small businesses affected by EndSARS protest
Flutterwave, a leading payment solution company, is partnering Lagos State Emergency Trust Fund (LSETF) to cushion the effects of the violence and mayhem on small businesses during the #EndSARS protest.
The fintech company noted that supporting tech-enabled businesses which suffered losses during the protest was its corporate social responsibility and a way of sustaining businesses in Lagos.
“We’ve partnered with Lagos State Employment Trust Fund and private sector companies led by Endeavor Entrepreneurs, to create a fund to help businesses that have been affected.
“We are committing N5 million discounted processing fees and free cloud hosting for tech-enabled businesses that have been affected,” the company said.
Recall that several businesses were affected as a result of the violence and looting that marred the #EndSARS protest.
The past few weeks have been very difficult for many businesses. Some of the people affected are the small businesses that were vandalized & looted during the Lagos curfew.
