Eat‘N’Go, Friesland Campina, Hayat Kimya, others back MARKETING EDGE’s orphanage charity initiative

The annual MARKETING EDGE’s orphanage celebration and products presentation recently received a big boost as three leading corporate brands lent their support to the CSR initiative. The three corporate giants are – Eat‘N’Go, Friesland Campina WAMCO, and Hayat Kimya Nigeria who have donated their products as a mark of endorsement and support for the charity initiative.

In the last ten years, MARKETING EDGE, Nigeria’s foremost marketing publication has been providing support for orphanages as a mark of its corporate social responsibility during Yuletide celebrations with a view to bringing hope and inspiration to the less privileged in the society. Many orphanages have benefited from this noble initiative.

The product support from Friesland Campina includes several cartons of Peak Yoghurt and Peak Evaporated Milk. Hayat Kimya is supporting the initiative with many cartons of its flagship products like Molfix Diapers, while Eat‘N’Go, a franchisee of Domino Pizzas is donating pizzas for the children of the orphanage as part of the charity initiative.

Receiving the products on behalf of MARKETING EDGE, Deputy General Manager (Marketing), MARKETING EDGE, Ogechi Odigbo, thanked the various companies for supporting the company’s wonderful initiative.

Also commenting on the support from the corporate bodies, Publisher/CEO, MARKETING EDGE, John Ajayi said: “Our sincere appreciation goes to our corporate partners for supporting our initiative to provide for the orphanage. Orphanages are facing a lot of difficulties to finance their operations at this critical period of our economy. Through the years, our company has built a strong legacy on giving back to the society. We are glad that many corporate brands have joined the train to support the little initiative we started many years ago.”

Recall that many corporate brands have supported the laudable CSR initiative by the leading marketing publications. In the past, notable brands like Dufil Nigeria limited, makers of Indomie Noodles and foremost dairy company, Promasidor Nigeria and other corporate bodies have given support to the CSR initiative of MARKETING EDGE.

This year’s orphanage support, which holds at Mother Teresa Orphanage Home at Ketu Alapere area of Lagos, is significant considering the overwhelming support from several corporate bodies and individuals.
