Digital professionals have taken to their social media handles to celebrate Digital Learning Day, which marked its 12th edition this year. Digital Learning Day is an annual event celebrated on the last Thursday of every February.

This year, it was celebrated on Thursday 23 February, 2023. It is a day to showcase the benefits of digital learning, such as increased access to educational resources, improved student engagement and motivation, and personalized learning experiences.

Commenting on the event, @Lagos digital PR summit said in its Instagram post: “Today, we also recognise our resource persons, sponsors, and partners over the years for their sacrifices and contribution to accelerating learning in digital communication practice.”

Phillips Consulting, a business and management consulting firm also posted on Instagram: “Today, we celebrate the use of technology in learning and the steps we are taking to ensure organisations are equipped with digital learning solution embedded with various learning resources that address functional, behavioural and technical skills and can accommodate various learning audiences and style.”

On his part, Mia Gutsell, an Instructional Technology Specialist at Bensenville School, stated: “Digital learning is about promoting creation, collaboration, and critical thinking, not simply the consumption of ideas.”

Digital has given every brand a unique opportunity to improve the efficiency of their operations, enabling large-scale automation. Naturally, there are fewer human errors which directly lead to a decrease in operational costs.
