According to the Publisher/CEO of MARKETING EDGE, John Ajayi, the Summit was conceived as another offering from the publication’s stable in setting an agenda for the industry and also fulfilling its objective of promoting the brand idea.

“We are very proud to have introduced MARKETING EDGE Quarterly IMC Virtual Summit as a premier event that brings together the best minds in all IMC sectors at the highest level. The wide reception which greeted the inaugural edition clearly indicated that it was an idea whose time had come.”

Continuing, Mr. Ajayi said: “The expedience of the initiative is underscored by the fact that these uncertain times call for collaboration and conversation as we adjust to the fast-changing pace of the industry across sectors.

“As an agenda-setting publication, stakeholders expect much from us especially at this critical time. This is our little way of stimulating meaningful and result-oriented conversations in the IMC as it recovers from its myriad of challenges. It is also a way of accomplishing our self-appointed task of promoting the brand idea.”

He assured that the forthcoming second Summit would undoubtedly be an improvement on the maiden edition, as judging from the multiple topics being looked into clearly indicate that the scope of the Summit has been widened.
