Coca-Cola to leverage OpenAI’s ChatGPT

Poised to enhance its marketing through Artificial Intelligence (AI), The Coca-Cola Company has become the first publicly owned consumer goods company around the world to identify and implement the value of AI, to maximize business potential with OpenAI’s ChatGPT.

The generative AI is a series of artificial intelligence algorithms that can be used to quickly create text, images, and other content. Coca-Cola is partnering with OpenAI and Bain & Company to use OpenAI’s ChatGPT and DALL-E platforms to craft personalized ad copy, images, and messaging, the companies announced in a press release. 

Commenting on the initiative, James Quincey, Chairman and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company said:  “We are excited to unleash the next generation of creativity offered by this rapidly emerging technology, we see opportunities to enhance our marketing through cutting-edge AI, along with exploring ways to improve our business operations and capabilities.”

Roy Singh, global head of Bain & Company’s Advanced Analytics practice stated that this hugely exciting partnership is going to help the cola giant deliver more powerful AI solutions to its clients, and help them win as their industries transform with the generational shift in technological capabilities.
