AAAN partners Henley Africa to launch Ad Academy

Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) in partnership with Henley Africa will be launching Ad Academy—a virtual hub where the next generation of creatives will be birthed and nurtured.

AAAN, the umbrella body that coordinates and promotes the interest of Advertising Agencies in Nigeria, made the announcement via a tweet stating that additional information would be aired soon.

Henley Business School Africa is a global school and one of the oldest business schools with campuses in Asia, Africa, and Europe. The African institution shares international accreditation with its parent and is also locally accredited in South Africa.

In 2020, Henley Business School partnered Telecommunications Company, MTN and Afrinolly Creative Hub to provide entrepreneurial training and coaching to contestants on the debut season of MTN Y’ello Star, a capacity-building initiative by MTN Nigeria to discover, nurture, and launch music talents in young Nigerians.

Launched in 1973 as a sectoral body within the Nigerian marketing communications sphere, the AAAN has become a force to be reckoned with both locally and internationally. Formerly known as Association of Advertising Practitioners of Nigeria (AAPN), the Association formally changed its name from Association of Advertising Practitioners of Nigeria (AAPN) to Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) in 2004. AAAN is the umbrella body that coordinates and promotes the interest of Advertising Agencies in Nigeria.
