VDT Communications elevates Ikumariegbe to DMD
VDT Communications has elevated Abimbola Ikumariegbe, to the position of Deputy Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer.
Until her recent appointment, Ikumariegbe was formerly the General Manager, Sales & Marketing department of the organisation.
She is a graduate of English Language from Obafemi Awolowo University in Osun State, and also holds an MBA from same institution. She has attended series of marketing and managerial training programmes.
Ikumariegbe is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University.
She has certification in ITIL and knowledge resource on ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 20000-1:2011. Bimbo Ikumariegbe commenced her professional career with Magic Software.
After a stint at the company as a Sales Executive, she furthered her journey in Bitcom Systems Nigeria Limited, which is now the parent company of VDT Communications.
She is a pioneer staff of VDT Communications, which she joined in 2001 as a Sales Executive and rose through the ranks to her present position. In all Ikumariegbe has garnered over 17 years of cognate experience in the ICT/Telecommunications sector.
The Marketing Communications Manager, David Ese, explained that Ikumariegbe is an excellent team player and leader, she was instrumental to the formation of the Sales & Marketing Department of VDT Communications and with her pacesetting managerial style, led the growth of the company from a marginal turnover to a firm now worth multiple billions of Naira.
Ese noted that under her watch, VDT has evolved into a strong positive brand image with an extensive increase in brand visibility.
