Toriola acquires additional shares worth ₦41.39million in MTN Nigeria

A Non-Executive Director at MTN Nigeria, Karl Toriola, has again acquired the company’s share of 253,982 stocks with a total sum of ₦41.388,906.70.

This was made known in a statement signed by the firm’s Secretary, Uto Ukpanah.

According to the statement, transactions occurred in five tranches, with an average price of N162.96 and an aggregate volume of 253,982 units on 31st of December 2020.

It was gathered that the transaction was done accordingly; 130,510 – ₦160.50, 185 – ₦161.80, 100,159 – ₦163.00, 2,722 – ₦164.50, 20,406 – ₦165.00.

Toriola has previously increased his stake in MTN Nigeria with the purchase of 920,000 ordinary shares, as disclosed on the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE) platform.

The breakdown of the aggregate information shows that Toriola acquired 920,000 ordinary shares at N118 per share on June 25, 2020, in Lagos, Nigeria.

Total purchase stood at 920,000 shares valued at N108,560,000.
