TLC set to reveal new presenter
All is now set for to reveal the winner of the TLC Next Great Presenter competition which is held in association with Colgate Optic White.
With the Top 3 already selected, the public can now have their say in who becomes the latest presenter on Africa’s umber one international lifestyle and entertainment channel. The voting began on Monday, October 10 and will end on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.
Those who made it to the Top three are Carissa Cupido from Cape Town, South Africa, Charlie Karumi from Nairobi, Kenya and Karen Paida Mukwedeya from Harare, Zimbabwe.
“Our Top 3 finalists are incredibly talented and they all have what it takes to become a host on TLC”, says Lee Hobbs, competition judge and VP of Brand and Content for Discovery Networks CEEMEA. “However, the decision is now out of the judges’ hands, and we’re calling on all our TLC fans from across the continent to get behind their favourite finalist and choose who will be crowned TLC’s Next Great Presenter!”
The winner of this competition will travel to London and present a brand new four-part series, TLC’s MOST EXTREME, set to premiere on TLC Entertainment early next year. The winner will also receive an all-expenses paid holiday to the ‘Palace of the Lost City’, courtesy of Sun International.
Voters stand a chance of winning a seven-night stay at the ‘Wild Coast Sun’ resort in Port Edward, South Africa courtesy of Sun International. TLC will also be giving out various other prizes throughout the voting period, including a free six-month digital subscription to Elle magazine for ten lucky TLC fans.
All voters have the chance to win tickets to the VIP gala event on Tuesday, 15 November in Johannesburg, South Africa, where the winner of TLC’s Next Great Presenter will be revealed in front of a live audience.
