Star Radler, Legend Extra Stout unveil Erica as brand ambassador
Star Radler, a refreshing blend of premium Star lager beer and Legend Extra Stout from the stable of Nigerian Breweries, have named Ex BBNaija housemate, Erica Nlewedim, popularly called “stargirl” as their new brand ambassador.
The announcement was made on the brands’ twitter handle after unveiling the new look and flavour of Star Radler.
“We’re super excited to announce that @EricaNlewedim is officially a part of the ever-growing Star Radler and Legend Extra Stout family. Let’s give her the warmest welcome, people,” the statement said.
The Portfolio Manager, National Premium Lager, Nigerian Breweries, Sarah Agha, said: “As evidenced in the past, Nigerian Brewery is a champion of constant innovation in a bid to ensure the optimum satisfaction of our consumers and to make our brands refreshing and exciting. After a brief period of silence for both brands, we felt it was time to refresh them and re-introduce them to our loyal consumers.”
Commenting on her new status as the brand ambassador, Erica said: “I am delighted to represent these two exciting brands. They embody the youthful exuberance, unrestricted freedom of expression, among other qualities that make them a perfect fit for me and my audience.
“This partnership will no doubt be a success, and I cannot wait to be part of the execution of some of the activities we have planned.”
Recall that Tiwa Savage was unveiled as Star Radler’s brand ambassador in the first quarter of 2019.
Since its launch in 2015, the introduction of Star Radler, which comes with a unique blend of beer and pure citrus juice (orange and lemon), has been proved to be another masterstroke from Nigerian Breweries Plc; Star Radler is naturally brewed, and contains only 2% of alcohol which makes it an easy choice for consumers who are new to the beer category. The packaging of Star Radler brings to life the refreshing, thirst-quenching and tasteful benefits of the special beer.
Meanwhile, Legend Extra Stout now wears a new look and feel, while featuring the signature Legend torch and an attractive black colour.
First brewed in Germany in 1922, Star Radler is one of Nigerian Breweries’ 19 beverage brands which include Heineken, Star Lager, Climax Energy Drink, Gulder, Goldberg, 33 Export, Amstel Malta, Maltina, and more.
