Skye Bank rewards more winners in the "Reach For The Skye Millionaire" savings scheme

Skye Bank’s ‘Reach for the Skye Millionaire’ savings reward scheme has produced more winners in its second monthly draw event held at the Alaba and Aspamda markets in Lagos.

The draw, produced winners in different categories as follows: Maiyegun Bunmi from Lokoja Branch, Alaba Olawale from Badagry branch, Wabi Mohammed from Abuja main branch, Friday Adodo from Benin City branch, Nnedu Onyinye were among  the lucky winners who went away with the sum of  100,000 naira each.

In the 250,000 naira category, four winners emerged; Aina Fabode from Jos Branch, Kalu Okeke Ugonanya from Aba Road branch, Gabar Fatima from Adeniran Ogunsanya branch, and Lawal Basel from Saki branch.

The highpoint of the draw came with the announcement of the winners of the 1,000,000 naira star prizes. The winners, Adekunle Abiodun Adeyemo from Offa branch, Uche Onuagbu from Aba main branch and Kazeem Adewale emerged as the mega lucky winners.

Also present during the draws were representatives from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission and Lagos State lottery commission who ensured that the draws were transparent.

Speaking during the draws, Skye Bank’s Head of Retail Banking Group, Nkolika Okoli stated that the ‘Reach for the Skye Millionaire Reward’ scheme was instituted by the bank to encourage savings culture amongst the mass market segment.

Nkolika added, “Skye Bank is not just encouraging customers to save, but we are also rewarding customers for choosing us since they have other options. In the end, the scheme is a win-win for both our esteemed customers and Skye Bank as we seek to grow our customer base.”

Expressing his gratitude to Skye bank, Mr. Donatus Okoro, the lucky winner of the 1million naira category from last month’s draw, said “ I am not only happy for this opportunity that I have to win 1million naira in the promo, but deeply appreciative of Skye bank, for this initiative encouraging masses to grow and better their lives.”

“I am indebted to Skye Bank for changing my story. I have started telling my friends to bank with Skye Bank, in order to enjoy exclusive benefits and opportunities such as this,” he added.

The raffle draws session which was hosted by popular Nollywood Actor and Celebrity Host, Kingsley Ogbonna alias Dauda, had series of rigorous and authentic selection processes using verification software to help validate the winners based on their minimum balances of 2,000 naira.

 “The Scheme, “Reach for the Skye Millionaire” is aimed to drive a savings culture while also doubling as a CSR initiative anchored on the premise of building a long lasting relationship with our savings customers based on trust. It also supports the government’s financial inclusion policy so as to bring a lot more people into the financial system and the formal economy.”

The “Reach for the Skye Millionaire” scheme began in July and will run for one year, with series of monthly raffle draws during which more and more winners will continue to emerge.
