NSE set to honour Moolman

Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) is set to hold a virtual ceremony to honour the outgoing Chief Executive officer of MTN, Mr. Ferdi Moolman.

Announcing via its official twitter handle, the Exchange stated: “Join us on Wed. Dec. 23, 2020 by 2:15pm as we host the outgoing CEO of @MTNNG, Mr. Ferdi Moolman to a digital Closing Gong Ceremony to commemorate the successful completion of his 5 year tenure as the CEO.”

Moolman, who has served as the Chief Financial Officer and General Manager Financial Operations of MTN in Iran and Nigeria, will be succeeded by Karl Olutokun Toriola, who has served in several administrative capacities at MTN, ranging from Chief Technical Officer to his current position as Vice President, West and Central Africa on March 1, 2021.

The University of South Africa alumnus who joined MTN in 2002 would assume the role of MTN Group Chief Risk Officer.
