NowNow strengthens its Advisory Board

Leading Nigerian Fintech and  digital banking solution, NowNow Digital Systems Limited, has appointed David London, Managing Director, Cybersecurity, the Chertoff Group; Henrietta Bankole-Olusina, VP and Practice Lead, Economic Inclusion, Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors; and Olayinka David-West, Associate Dean, Lagos Business School  into its board to strengthen  its advisory board team.

David London is currently the Managing Director at the Chertoff Group, delivering his role in helping the company in handling and addressing their most pressing cybersecurity risks. He assists operational personnel and senior decision-makers to effectively mitigate and communicate cyber risk. He has led high-profile cybersecurity engagements in energy, financial services, retail, health care, and technology sectors.

In his new role as a member of the advisory board, David London will be instrumental in strengthening the NOWNOW cybersecurity platform to drive transparency and prioritize security investments backed up by his decades of experience in cybersecurity.

Speaking on the future of NowNow and his optimism about his role on the board, David London stated, “I’m thrilled to join NowNow’s advisory board where I can apply my cybersecurity and financial sector expertise as well as my experience living in Africa. NowNow serves a critical role in empowering African businesses and consumers, and I look forward to helping the organization sustain and strengthen its commitment to cybersecurity, trust, and transparency.”

Henrietta Bankole-Olusina is a leader with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to success with career achievements in digital transformation, innovation, fintech business development, payments, and so on.  Henrietta works in financial services with a focus on financial inclusion policies driving regulatory requirements for Digital Financial Services (DFS) and engaging Financial Service Industry (FSI) regulators to provide advisory with the aim to strengthen regulatory policies in developing markets.

Prior to this appointment, Henrietta was Head of Corporate Transformation and the executive responsible for Information Technology at the Asset & Resource Management (ARM) Group, and Managing Director at ARM Financial Advisers. Prior to joining ARM, she was the Financial Services Management Consulting Lead and Head of Mobility and Payments at Accenture in Nigeria. She holds a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands.

Olayinka David-West is a versatile and results-oriented executive and leader with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to success with career achievements in digital transformation, innovation, fintech business development, payments, large-scale enterprise and IT transformation, product and channel development.

 A Professor of Information Systems, who comes with over three decades of experience in her multi-talented career, cutting across customer experience, partnership and alliance building, strategy development and implementation, with change management and programme management capabilities as well as  strong regulatory interface.Olayinka leads the Sustainable and Inclusive Digital Financial Services (SIDFS) initiative, a research and advocacy initiative dedicated to enhancing financial inclusion in Nigeria.

NowNow as the largest fintech ecosystem in Africa is poised to provide dynamic solutions to empower Africans with technology as well as support the financial inclusion goals in the region.
