‘Noah’s Ark won’t give up on Cannes Lions Award’

Though spirited efforts by a leading advertising agency in Nigeria, Noah’s Ark, to clinch the prestigious 2016 Cannes Lions Award may have hit the rock this year, but the firm has assured that it won’t relent in its bid to get the global honour.

This was disclosed at the weekend to journalists in Lagos by the firm’s Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Lanre Adisa who said that his company was determined to continue to enter for the award until it wins.

The agency had been tipped by many stakeholders to fly the Nigerian flag on the medal table following its previous performance at last year’s Cannes where it was recognized with a National Diploma.

Also, the advertising agency had an outstanding performance at the last year’s LAIF Awards where it emerged as the only winner of the Grand Prix the event.
Speaking to MARKETING EDGE MAGAZINE, Adisa affirmed that Noah’s Ark would never relent until the agency wins an award at the Cannes Lions.

“We are the only Nigerian agency that actually entered for Cannes, I mean that will surprise you and a lot of Nigerian agencies went there with as many as six to ten delegates, we are the only Nigerian agency, you can confirm from some of my colleagues and I know they will affirm that we are the only one who entered for Cannes Lions Award this year,” he stressed.

Being honoured with the National Diploma recognition has aided Noah’s Ark agency to become a major player in the sector like DDB Lagos, Insight Communications, Rosabel Advertising, SO&U among others.

So far and to its credit, Noah Ark presently manages the accounts of Heritage Bank, UAC, V-Connect, Indomie, Airtel Nigeria among others.
