Public Relations guru, Anne-Marie Palmer-Ikuku, is setting another milestone in her career as one of the top Liquified Natural Gas companies in Nigeria, Nigeria LNG Limited, elevates her to a new role as the company’s Manager, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.

With over 24 years of diverse outstanding experience in international trade and development, stakeholder management and broad spectrum of communications interfacing with various national and international media and with other key publics, Anne-Marie has been a great asset to NLNG.

Her journey in the company has seen her successful in different roles including Head of Media Relations and Corporate Communications, Senior Media Relations Officer, Senior Events Officer and Assistant Trade Development Manager all of which she undertook between 1998 and 2024.

Anne-Marie is an alumna of the prestigious University of Lagos, Akoka, where she obtained her first degree in Psychology before moving on to earn an Advanced Certificate in International Trade at the Institute of Export, UK.

Her Academic journey continued with an Advanced Certificate in Trade Development and Promotion at the Nottingham Trent University and later an Oxford Women’s Leadership Development Course at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Prior to her new position, Anne-Marie Head, was the Head of Media Relations and Corporate Communications at NLNG where she garnered adequate experience in External communication, Internal Communication and Social Media Management. She also served as the Head of Media Relations and Senior Relations Officer where she made significant impact in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Crisis Communication and Branding and Identity.

In recognition and honour of her expertise and commitment, Anne-Marie Palmer-Ikuku is an active member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and a part of the team that won a global award for Crisis Communication in 2011.

Under Anne-Marie Palmer-Ikuku’s direction, NLNG is anticipated to continue growing and innovating. The organisation is excited about the beneficial influence she will surely have on the field of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.
